John Fleming, of Persellands and Carwood, and Janet Carwood, co-heiress of Carwood with Margaret her sister, Queen Mary's favourite, were married circa 1548.1

Property

John Fleming, of Persellands and Carwood, possessed had letters of legitimation on 15 June 1541.2,3 He possessed 1542-43.10 He had a charter of the lands of Brackenleys from his father on 29 September 1541 in Brackenleys.45

Death

John Fleming, of Persellands and Carwood, died on 22 August 1592 at age ~72.2
