  • MAYBE 1190 Richard ("4d") le Fleming was occupied as warden of Launceston Castle in Cornwall.
  • Circa 1200 Richard ("4d") le Fleming was occupied as a Justiciary under Kings Richard I and John. These kings reigned from 1189 to 1216, but it is not know exactly when Richard was a Justiciary.2
  • From 1202 to 1205 Richard ("4d") le Fleming was occupied as Sheriff of Cornwall.3

Richard ("4d") le Fleming possessed held the manors of Stoke Fleming, Ottery Fleming, Farway, Luppitt, Ludsham and Holdich circa 1199 in Devonshire.1 He possessed was granted custody of the extensive lands of Richard de Glenville in Devonshire,Cornwall and Gloucestershire in 1199. He possessed held fees in 1201 in Cornwall.4 He possessed held manors circa 1202 in Devonshire.1

Death

Richard ("4d") le Fleming died circa 1220 at age ~69.1
