In 1636 Patrick ("13th") Fleming, of Barochan, was occupied as was appointed by the Privy Council as a JP for Renfrew and Paisley.^1,2
On 26 August 1643 Patrick ("13th") Fleming, of Barochan, was occupied as was appointed a commissioner for war for Renfrew in Edinburgh.³
On 2 February 1646 Patrick ("13th") Fleming, of Barochan, was occupied as was reappointed to the committee for war representing Renfrewshire in St Andrews.⁴

Patrick ("13th") Fleming, of Barochan, possessed was a creditor in the testament of James Fleming of Lang-corslie in February 1606.⁶
