- On 26 August 1643 Patrick ("13th") Fleming, of Barochan, was occupied as was appointed a commissioner for war for Renfrew in Edinburgh.3
- On 2 February 1646 Patrick ("13th") Fleming, of Barochan, was occupied as was reappointed to the committee for war representing Renfrewshire in St Andrews.4
