Malcolm Fleming, of Cardone, possessed is named as a substitute heir by Jean Fleming, Countess of Cassilis on 28 December 1597 in Gilmerton in Midlothian.1,2 He possessed bought Cultermains in the barony of Culter in Lanarkshire from Richard Brown on 15 November 1610 in Cultermains.3,456,7,89 He possessed was named as a heritor of Wester Mucray and Carderoch (Cardone?) owned by the University of Glasgow in 1659 in Wester Mucray.10
