Lieutenant-Colonel John Fleming, of Dunblane, cousin and tutor to John Fleming of Boghall, possessed was named as heir in special to his cousin John Fleming of Boghall on 29 June 1667.² He possessed resigned the lands of Milntoun and Arretshoul that he had inherited from his fatuous cousin John Fleming of Boghall to Matthew Brisbane, presumably a close relative of Boghall's mother Janet on 13 September 1667 in Milntoun and Arretshoul.⁴ He possessed English draft of Latin charter granting the lands of Boghall to Colin Campbell and Janet Muir his wife on 12 January 1668 in Boghall.⁵ He possessed the lands of Boghall and Milltown and Arretshole were resigned by Matthew Brisbane (with the consent of his wife Ann Fleming) for regrant to Robert Campbell secured by a 35,000 merk mortgage given by Campbell on 11 June 1668 in Boghall and Milltown and Arretshole.⁶^2,7

Death

Lieutenant-Colonel John Fleming, of Dunblane, cousin and tutor to John Fleming of Boghall, died in April 1684 at age ~64.² He had his estate probated on 6 October 1684.^2,8
