Sir Thomas le Fleming, 2nd Baron Slane, was born circa 1358. A Nicholas Fleming became archbishop of Armagh 1404-16. He may have been a brother of Sir Thomas. He was appointed archbishop by Pope Boniface IX and is interred in the church of St Peter in Drogheda.
