James ("the Great Montrose") Graham, 5th Earl of Montrose, witnessed the death of John Graham, 4th Earl of Montrose, on 14 November 1626 in Kincardine.1 James ("the Great Montrose") Graham, 5th Earl of Montrose, died hanged and quartered on 21 May 1650 at age ~38 in Edinburgh. He was buried on 11 May 1661 in St Giles, Edinburgh.
