Erchenbald le Fleming possessed was granted manors on Somerset and Kent by King Henry I circa 1135.
2 He succeeded to his father's fees in Devonshire and Cornwall in 1146 in Bratton Fleming, Devonshire. This may have included responsibility for Launceston Castle.
3 He possessed possessed the family estates whereof his ancestor had been enfeoffed in the reign of Henry I in 1165 in Cornwall.
4 He possessed may have owned an estate in 1170 at Crandon manor in Somersetshire.
5 He possessed obtained Astmayn and Eskertenen in Tipperary and Newcastle and Slane on the river Boyne after 1171 at Ireland in Astmayn and Eskertenen in Tipperary and Newcastle and Slane on the river Boyne.
4 He possessed participated in Hugh de Lacy's plantation of the Kingdom of Mide in 1172.
6,7 He possessed obtained the lordships of Astmayn and Eskertenen in Tipperary and Newcastle and Slane on the River Boyne in 1173.

Death
Erchenbald le Fleming died probably during the seige of Verneuil castle by the forces of King Louis VII of France circa 1173 at age ~73 in Verneuil, Normandy.
